1. Beat the traffic
This is perhaps one of the most obvious, how many times have we watched the delivery driver zoom past us while we are stuck in our worsening traffic jams. If you have to get something done during peak hours, maybe you should consider weighing the hassle of poor traffic conditions and the convenience of getting it to your doorstep..for a small fee of course!
2. Be more productive
Many of our clients find that they can get more done during the day with delivery, many stay at home moms get their shopping for the next day done while cooking lunch, or office workers order their ebbeh soups, without having to leave their desk.
3. Recommendation power
Delivery companies tend to learn a thing or two about where to get what from their customers, they may not always have one but when they do have a recommendation you can be sure its a good one
4. Mix and match
Everything has a good side to it, dining at a restaurant can provide and ambiance but you are limited to that restaurants menu, when you order in, you can get your main meal from one restaurant and your dessert from another, ok..this one is for the real foodies, but still, you never know when that might be useful!
5. Gift of food
With a delivery service you can surprise someone close or far away in a different country with the gift food! Better still it can be surprise, like one dad who made a surprise delivery for his son in Gambia on his birthday while he was on a business trip to the UK
6. It Saves you money
It is often the case that using a delivery service saves you money, delivery costs are often competitive against driving yourself and almost always cheaper than using a Taxi.
7. Don't drive at night
For some of us that have a hard time driving at night, perhaps you should get a delivery service to complete errands or shop or order food to your home after sundown.
8. Errands
This is perhaps the least understood service that delivery companies offer, perhaps it is because it is the most flexible, you can use a delivery service for any errand that involves taking something from somewhere and taking it elsewhere here are a few errand scenarios that we have been tasked to run:
“I forgot my laptop/phone/charger at home, please get it and take bring it for me at the office”
“I am on my way to the airport and for something at home, kindly get it for me and meet me at the airport im running late”
“Please get my dress at the tailors”
“My daughter left her jacket at the school kindly get it for us at the caretakers office”
9. You are visiting or recently moved and dont know your way around
Using a delivery service a great start to figuring out, where to get your essentials and get recommendations about the best eateries in town or those closest to your location.
10. Stay safe
Last and most certainly not least, its a good idea to stay home to stay safe, a delivery service can operate because there will be less congestion at any pick up store, they are operating with safety precautions in mind so there are less chances of coming into contact with other people as opposed venturing out into city and/or using public transport.
